【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesmethodsfortheidentificationandassessmentofhazardoussituationsleadingtoexplosionandthedesignandconstructionmeasuresappropriatefortherequiredsafety.Thisisachievedby:-hazardidentification;-riskassessment;-eliminationorminimizationofrisk;-informationforuse.Thesafetyofequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentscanbeachieved,asdescribedin5.7ofEN414:1992,byremovalofhazardsand/orlimitingtherisk,i.e.a)bydesignwithoutusingsafeguarding;b)bysafeguarding;c)bycommunicationlinks,ifnecessary,toconveyinformationtotheuser,d)byanyotherprecautions.NOTE.The'design'inaccordancewith5.7ofEN414:1992shouldnotbeconfusedwiththe'design'inaccordancewith6.5ofthisstandard.Measuresinaccordancewitha)(prevention)andb)(protection)againstexplosionsaredealtwithinclause6ofthisstandard,measuresaccordingtoc)againstexplosionsaredealtwithinclause7ofthisstandard.Measuresinaccordancewithd)arenotdescribedinthisstandard.Theyaredealtwithinclause6ofEN292-2:1991.Thepreventiveandprotectivemeasuresdescribedinthisstandardwillnotprovidetherequiredlevelofsafetyunlesstheequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsareoperatedwithintheirintendeduseandareinstalledandmaintainedaccordingtotherelevantcodesofpracticeorrequirements.Thisstandardspecifiesgeneraldesignandconstructionmethodstohelpdesignersandmanufacturersinachievingexplosionsafetyinthedesignofequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponents.Thisstandardisapplicabletoanyequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsintendedtobeusedinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres.Theseatmospherescanarisefromflammablematerialsprocessed,usedorreleasedbytheequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsorfrommaterialsinthevicinityoftheequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsand/orfromthematerialsofconstructionoftheequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponents.Thisstandardisapplicabletoequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsatallstagesoftheiruse.ThisstandardisonlyapplicabletoequipmentgroupⅡwhichisintendedforuseinotherplacesthanundergroundpartsofminesandthosepartsofsurfaceinstallationsofsuchminesendangeredbyfiredampand/orflammabledust.Thisstandardisnotapplicableto:-medicaldevicesintendedforuseinamedicalenvironment;-equipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentswheretheexplosionhazardresultsexclusivelyfromthepresenceofexplosivesubstancesorunstablechemicalsubstances;-equipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentswheretheexplosioncanoccurbyreactionofsubstanceswithotheroxidizersthanatmosphericoxygenorbyotherhazardousreactionsorbyotherthanatmosphericconditions;-equipmentintendedforuseindomesticandnon-commercialenvironmentswherepotentiallyexplosiveatmospheresmayonlyrarelybecreated,solelyasaresultoftheaccidentalleakageoffuelgas;-personalprotectiveequipmentcoveredbyDirective89/686/EEC;-seagoingvesselsandmobileoffshoreunitstogetherwithequipmentonboardsuchvesselsorunits;-meansoftransport,i.e.vehiclesandtheirtrailersintendedsolelyfortransportingpassengersbyairorbyroad,railorwaternetworks,aswellasmeansoftransportinsofarassuchmeansaredesignedfortransportinggoodsbyair,bypublicroadorrailnetworksorbywater.Vehiclesintendedforuseinapotentiallyexplosiveatmosphereshallnotbeexcluded;-thedesignandconstructionofsystemscontainingdesired,controlledcombustionprocesses,unlesstheycanactasignitionsourcesinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres.
