【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsandtestmethodsformaterials,dimensions,workmanship,chemicalresistance,andjointtightnessofpoly(vinylchloride)(PVC)seweranddrainpipeandfittings.Four-inchperforatedpipeisalsocovered;thejointtightnesstestisnotapplicableforthisproduct.Aformofmarkingtoindicatecompliancewiththisspecificationisalsoincluded.Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixeswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section6,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
