【摘要】:本标准规定了有关模塑料注塑或直接压塑的多用途试样制备的要求。A型和B型试样是拉伸试样,经过简单的机加工,可得到其他各种试验用试样(见附录A)。由于其用途广泛,本标准将这些拉伸试样称为多用途试样。多用途试样的主要优点是,附录人中提到的全部试验方法,均能在可比的模塑制品的基础上完成。这样因为所有试样是在同一条件下测试的因此测试性能具有一致性。换而言之,可以预计到一组试样的试验结果不会因无意地改变模塑条件而发生明显变化。另一方面,如果需要,很容易估定出模塑条件和(或)不同状态的试样对测试性能的影响。对于质量控制,多用途试样可以作为不易制备试样的方便来源,而且其优点是只需一副模具。由于多用途试样的性能可能与相关试验方法规定的其他试样的性能存在明显的差异,因此多用途试样的使用应征得有关利益双方的同意。注：本标准对前版标准的主要修订内容是降低了A型和B型试样肩部半径的允许误差。考虑到基于以前版本标准的许多模具仍在使用的事实,修订内容只做推荐使用,在下一次修订版中将强制执行。允许在十年的时间内,逐渐过渡到标准模具,见附录B。
